PROGRAMS DETAILS (Some Programs)
SUMMER WORK TRAVEL PROGRAM (#1 from above) for USA only
Purpose: This is an excellent opportunity for students from around the world to work and travel in USA. The purpose of the Program is to offer international students like you the opportunity to immerse themselves in U.S.A. daily life and perform cultural exchange through temporary employment opportunities during their summer holidays. This is accomplished by your ongoing interaction with Americans at the host company, as well as other cross-cultural and social activities. You will also learn about U.S.A. culture and specifically the values in American business practices. On the other hand, the Americans will increase their cross-cultural knowledge of another part of the world. The friendships formed will not only last a lifetime but also assist you in your career development upon returning home.
Profiles: The profiles that will be available are almost always unskilled, unqualified and include the following possibilities: amusement park attendant; banquet server; busser; clerical; cook; dishwasher; fast food server; front desk clerk; game/ride attendant; host/hostess; housekeeper; laundry; lifeguard; park services; parking attendant; porter; recreation instructor; sales; security guard; tour guide; waiter/waitress.
Selection & Application: This will be done directly by the US company.
Visa Stamping & duration: The visa stamp would be for about 3-4 months. You will be allowed to stay an extra month if you want to travel in US, legally. After this you have to return to your home country.
Eligibility: Good english communication skills; Age 18-28; Have to be a current student of univertisy or college (You can be from any field of education; You can only come to US during summer holidays for a period of 4-5 months)
TRAINEE & INTERNSHIPS FOR CURRENT STUDENTS, PASSED-OUT STUDENTS OR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS OF HOSPITALITY (#2, #3 AND #4 from above) for USA only
Purpose: Nowadays, gaining experience in a foreign country is a major asset to a successful career.
Many students or young professionals wish to participate in a Program to gain practical experience in the United States but most have difficulties finding sponsorship for their visa, and an American host company from their home country.AICEE is a cultural exchange program organization that specializes in assisting highly educated, qualified, and multilingual students and young professionals from all around the world in achieving their goals. In addition, candidates will improve their English skills while training in the U.S. By acquiring the much-needed practical experience as well as improving English skills, these individuals have a great start for their careers, which they can develop further upon return to their home countries. AICEE handles the search for a position and takes care of the documentation required to obtain a visa.Our organization offers placements in the following fields such as: hospitality, tourism, marketing & sales, management, accounting, finance, food & beverage, and restaurant management.
Visa Stamping & duration: The visa stamp would be for upto 12 months. You will be allowed to stay an extra month if you want to travel in US, legally.
Stipend / Scholorships / Pay : All positions are paid; Range about $6-$12 per hour; Housing, transporation, food etc will all depend upon the location you are selected to do the program.
Hours: Usually 32-40 Hours per week.
General Eligibility:Spoken English skills a must; age 20-35 yrs.
Specific Eligibility Category 1: You are eligible if you have no education but have 5 years of experience in the hotels, hospitality, tourism, marketing & sales, management, accounting, finance, food & beverage, and restaurant management or related fields.
Specific Eligibility Category 2: You are eligible if you are current student of a university, school, college or institute and undergoing a certificate, diploma or degree in hotel management, hospitality, tourism, marketing & sales, management, accounting, finance, food & beverage, and restaurant management. or related fields; You are also eligible if you apply within one year of completing your course. In this category you don't need to have any experience.
Specific Eligibility Category 3: This category is same as above but if you have completed your education more than one year before applying then you have to have at least one year of experience in the same fields.
General Benefits - for USA only
- Paid opportunities (monthly stipend or salary)
- Assistance in visa processing for applicants and their families
- 32-40 Hours working per week (however productivity is observed)
- Opportunity for paid extra working hours might be available depending upon your productivity and work performance.
- Accommodation can sometimes be provided by hotels (with a deduction)
- Guidance for application for Social Security Card.
- Guidance in case of any problems with Social Security Administration or if visit is required to United States Citizenship & Immigration Services for problems with I-94 for database issues
- Gudiance in opening of Bank Account.
- Transportation to and from the training/work location could be provided but to be reimbursed.
- General Advise during working hours.
For US Workers: Please note that some of these services may not be requried by US workers since they already have all the documentation to work in US, but this would mean less expenses for the process and less expenses on re-imbursements for housing, transportation etc.

The following is the complete selection process for international applicantst:

Complete telephone or physical interview
If selected, submit registration fee.
Complete Application and submit required documents as scanned copies. These could change from time to time but generally are:
- Application form
- Resume in US format.
- Two passport size photograph
- Proof of education and/or experience. You can provide copies of degree/diploma/certificates/marksheet/transcripts/other letters from school. All these should be in English. If the original is not in English then included both the orignal copy and english translation.
- Copy of passport (including page with picture, name, address etc.) with all earlier visas/rejections. (The passport should be valid for at least 6 months after the program end date in USA)
- An Essay in one page on the reason of coming for training/internship to USA. Explain how the training will help you in your life in the future and how it is related to the past experience. Your past experience or education should be related to the field you are coming for and should be related to what you will do when you go back to your home country. Sign this page.
- An Essay on how you will tell American people about your culture, heritage, traditions & history. (Not to exceed one page). Sign this page.
- Signed documents provided by AICEE.
AICEE will prepare your file and complete pending documents. We will let you know if we need additional documents.
We will send you the approval notice along with other
documentation. You will then fix up an appointment for interview date with the US Consulate/Embassy in your home country.
Once visa is stamped on your passport you are ready to come to US (subject to clearance at the port of entry).
